As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Needing a Coffee IV... Saturday, January 31

Coffee #1 with breakfast and then I headed out to Asan to run.
I refused to run the Dankook route for our long run like we did the other week when Snickers was out of town so we jumped in the truck and headed out to Asan.  Today's long run, 20kms, 5:23min/km... sweet.

Coffee #2 with some eggs and then we headed back to Cheonan
I always feel that after my weekend long run I'm able to milk the right to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day following it but today I definitely didn't have the luxury of doing so.  Instead, no sooner had I dropped off Rocket after our long but then I headed out for lunch out at Wow's place and then returned to play with the pups and do some laundry.  With our club having about 100 members and me training six days a week, sometimes twice a day, laundry is never really done.  There is always some kind of pile of laundry waiting to get in with the next load.

Coffee #3 with a light afternoon snack and then we headed out to do errands.
I also had groceries to get for tonight's party in addition to the handful of errands I had to run, and then tonight we were hosting a wine party to host for whomever cared to walk through our club doors and join us so that also meant I had to clean the club.

There was no coffee #4 but perhaps if I had had a coffee #4 I wouldn't have crashed in the afternoon for a solid hour.  Two coffees a day, that's my usual, but on Saturdays it's usually a three cup kind of day.  Did I mention that my "cup of coffee" usually comprises of a double shot?!  Ya, they should just hook me up to an IV with coffee dripping out of it on Saturdays.

Today I woke up at 9am, went to bed 18.5hrs later at 3:30am, burned 1,139 calories during my run and who knows how many I burned running around Cheonan like a chicken with its head cut off and suffering from a lack of sleep... hahaha.

Tomorrow, I am most definitely milking my right to do absolutely nothing because of all I did today!!!
