As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Super Chilly Saturday for Both of Us

While Snickers was off at Seoraksan, climbing the massive mountain with his buddy Wonder Boy and freezing his butt, I was back at Hulk's, refusing to freeze my butt off too.
My long run had been changed to Sunday this week and with Free Train being scheduled from 4-6pm, it was tough working up the motivation to get out of bed especially considering the fact that the coal heater had died out and my blanket was the only heat in the club.
I did work up the energy to kick my butt out of bed [enter me giving myself a pat on the back for that] and I actually did have quite the productive day... that's not to say that I didn't crawl back into bed after all my errands and whatnot were over and done with.
