As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Team Thundra Takes Two Losses at Bowling... Saturday, January 23

Six points...1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.  Six points is all Team Hulk beat us, Team Thundra, by in our second game at bowling today.  It was our team's second loss for the day and, come to think of it, perhaps just our third or fourth lost ever experienced the Team Thundra name.

Team Hulk 2, Team Thundra 0.

...did I mention it was only by 6 points?!

Bowling was a lot of fun today and despite my competitive nature, I'll accept my team's two losses.   We may have lost both games but I vouch that we had more fun than Team Hulk, for sure we did.  I mean, for every single bowl, whether it scored us a strike or even just one point, we clapped, high fived each other and cheered.  And whenever we got a spare or strike, watch out, we had full contact cheering at that point... hahaha.  I'm talking about arms wrapped around each other, jumping and spinning around while still stuck together.  It was hilarious.

Bowling was then followed by dinner out at Wow's restaurant.  They have since opened a second restaurant at the same location (2nd floor of the first one) so we scored an amazing seafood feast at a too-good-to-not-indulge-in price because of its grand opening event.
