As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Because Everyone Loves a Puppy

[more pictures from Tuesday night... it was an overdose of four-legged friends kind of night!!!]
Whoever said you can't buy love obviously has never bought a puppy.
Tonight this little guy was rescued from a local shelter by Mouse Doctor.
His name is Tiger because of his tiger-like fur but I call him Mr. Woods.
(No, I'm not a fan of the notoriously known cheating Tiger Woods, nor do I consider golf even a real sport, but Mr. Woods evolved from a joke among us tonight).
And while sitting with Mr. Woods and dodging his ever-so-fast nips to my face for kisses, out from his little carrier emerged another four-legged friend... Bbum (translation: Pinky)
Mr. Woods is only 2 months but Pinky is 2 years old.
Mr. Woods is the four-legged "love baby" of the reunited couple -- Cheeto Girl and Mouse Doctor -- and Pinky is going to live with Mouse Doctor's sister.
Mouse Doctor's sister used to have a similar dog and she loved it so much.
A while ago her dog came to live with Mouse Doctor but two years ago it was attacked and killed by one of Mouse Doctor's dog (Backcomb, my baby Pac's father).  Some friends had dropped by to check if Mouse Doctor was home but they forgot to fully close the front door and  the little dog ventured outside.  We held a burial ceremony for it on Taedu Mountain late one night.  We all said a word of goodbye for it, Mouse Doctor even wrote it a letter and got teary-eyed.
She isn't fully over the loss of her beloved dog but we're sure she'll fall in love with Pinky.
As for Mr. Woods, well, we're all in love with this little guy.  I mean, what's not to love about him -- he licks your face, wags his tail like he's a helicopter about to take off, and then he falls asleep in your arms.
Yup, got to love a puppy.  Now this is my kind of baby; I love the four-legged babies.
