As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I Think My Four-Legged Buddies are Best for Cuddling and Not Exercising

It's great having my own boxing club to train in whenever I want but it's not so easy to do so when my 3 four-legged friends are roaming around.  Notice Pac in this above shot, jumping up to lick my face.
I'm totally guilty of getting in some hugs in between sets though.
And while I may have to call the other two, Pyen Chi and Balboa, for in between set hugs, my boy Pacquiao is always within reach for some extra lovin'.
...going for the kettlebell?!  Not before Pac jumps in and insists on a hug.
Sweaty or not, that boy is all hugs and kisses towards me.
Finally they let me exercise...OK, so perhaps it was also a mix of me finally refraining from hugging them every second.  Ended up getting in a solid workout.
