As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Getting Out Despite Not Feeling so Peachy Keen

After what felt like a million zillion hours nursing a sick tummy in bed, I emerged from under my covers and met up with some friends who wanted to cheer me up.
Late night bowling with the boys.  Losers pays for the bowling plus dinner which, not to brag here or anything, but Snickers never loses so we never have to pay.
Yup, that's my husband, playing a child's arcade game.
He may be silly and he may be immature, but out of all the trouble he could be getting into and all the dram he could be causing, I'm happy to note he isn't the typical 30 year old husband.
He loves his comic books and arcade games and his nights out with the boys include playing as many sports in one night as they can.
I was still sporting an achy tummy so I didn't bowl or eat but it was nice to get out with the guys.  We've got a good crew of buddies.
