As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Start of Another Busy Work Week

This month's not-yet-published issue of the Hulk's Boxing newsletter, proof that just because you're in bed doesn't mean you can't do work.  Popped out this bad boy this morning while juggling my breakfast and one very mean, extra strong coffee... because I'm a pro star like that, hahaha.
This upcoming Sunday Kato has a fight so we're pushing him extra hard this week with training.
Today he stepped into the ring and sparred with two opponents and one sad corner of the ring that posed quite the challenge with not stepping onto.   Sorry guys, we will get that fixed as soon as we can.
Look at this -- THIS is why our Hulkies rock.
They train hard, push each other to their limits, but still come out of the intense training with smiles on their face and positive spirits.
