As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Training Hard and then Partying Hard

I must admit, I train our Hulkies a bit harder on Tuesdays and Thursdays -- Tuesdays because it's Leg Day and I absolutely love, love, LOVE training legs and Thursdays because Friday is Free Train Day so they won't be training with me till the next week, Monday.  On Thursdays we do full body crossfit.
Today I changed up our usual Crossfit class and made it a crossfit circuit class upon request.
It was comprised of 4 stations, each station having 2 exercises that you had to do 3 sets of 10 reps, and it included such exercises like hanging leg raises, tucks on the stability ball, sumo jacks, and ropes.
... nothing easy, everything challenging.   So good it's bad, so bad it's good.
Around 11pm some Hulkies arrived with snacks in hand -- sausages, wine and cheeseballs.  Our mouths all dropped at the sight of that cheeseball container, woozers.
No sooner was I going to joke about it but then they yelled out "sausage party time!!!"
So that's what we did, we had an impromptu sausage party.
Even the two little ones from yesterday, Mr. Woods and Pinky, showed up for it.
Mr. Woods and Pinky stood guard, making sure any "accidentally dropped" sausage was picked up while a few Hulkies took turns cooking all the sausages.
At our late night sausage party, there were a total of 13 of us.
The party started around 11pm and went till 1am.
