As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Cheers to a Successful Indiegogo and AMAZING Friends!!!

At exactly 5pm I passed Snickers a Timmies coffee and we cheers the ending of our Indiegogo campaign.
And no sooner had we cheers each other but then I broke out the thank you cards and started working on them.
I've got 41 personal thank you cards and gifts to send out.  Tonight I got the first 16 done.
And speaking of gifts, can I use that as an excuse as to why I'm cheating on Adidas here?!
Ever since being sponsored by Adidas I've been totally anti-Nike, to the point that I point out and boo friends and fellow boxers if I spot them sporting Nike.
These Nike high tops were dropped off for me tonight.  I'm a 34 year old wearing shoes bought for me in the children's section... nice, hahaha.
Ended the night on a rather sentimental note as tonight marked the last time Hulk's halo will shine down on the ring that Snickers and I made together.  Tomorrow we will be taking it down and Saturday it will be replaced.
