As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Running and Baseball Mixed in with Our Boxing

Finally headed out for a short run after what feels like an eternity.  I've been consistent with my weekend long runs and getting in my HIIT treadmill runs in but waking up for those short runs, hmmm... ya, am definitely lacking in the self motivation department there.
Today's morning run was disappointing.  Not only did I make so many mistakes with it but my pacing was slower than last week's long run that was basically twice the distance!
Look at who is venturing into another sport... Snickers.
He is officially a member on a new baseball team and today their uniforms arrived at the club.
I like the orange shirt.  Looks full of fresh energy.
Perhaps telling Snickers that he looked super sexy in his new uniform was a bad thing because he then insisted on wearing it for a good chunk of the day.  He even trained members in it and you should have seen the faces he got when members arrived and caught sight of him.  He looked great, don't kid yourself, but a boxing coach wearing such attire at training, dude that's just flat out strange... that's just flat out SO Snickers...hahaha.
