As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

These Are a Few of my Happy-Making Things

This makes me very, very, VERY happy -- seeing Snickers return to daily training, training super hard and training alongside Kato and our other boxers.
This makes me happy too -- my former teammate from UP and former Korean champion, Black Skinny, at our club training.  He, Panty Boy and I were three of the original UP Boxing Club team members.  The others have since stopped boxing and now we all train here at Hulk's.
This makes me super happy too -- a cup of great coffee with a great Hulkie friend.
This makes me ultra happy -- seeing some of our female Hulkies pushing through an extra lower body crossfit class today and their fellow female Hulkies peeking through the mirrors, cheering them on.
I think THIS makes them happy -- being done with that intense class, hahaha.  Legs of jelly, nice.
Last but not least, this makes me happy too -- the fierce female Hulkies cheering on the others as they too push through the same intense crossfit lower body class.  Not to sound bias but our females rock!!!
