As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Playing Hard after Training Hard

When I announced to our Hulkies that we'd be attending a party that'd also be attended by foreigners, they were a bit skeptical about wanting to participate but I did manage to get some of our boxers out to it.
It was being held at Dolce Bar, down the street from Hulk's, and when we arrived we were instantly greeted by some sweet beats from the DJ hired for the event.
And, of course, the manager of Dolce greeted us all too.
The place was packed with lots of people -- people drinking, people dancing, people playing games,... people in every corner and space in the club.
Later, after some mingling time, the two MCs for tonight's event started the games for the evening with a drinking game.  They also held a Ppeppero couple game, as well as a dance contest.
