As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Starting Off the New Week

To kick the filming of our documentary off on the right foot (no pun intended, well not originally) Snickers surprised me with couple Adidas sandals... hahaha.  He had ordered them last week and today they arrived.  Talk about perfect timing!!!
By the way, notice anything wrong with the above picture?!
Two things wrong actually -- socks with sandals and socks that are, dare I say the "N-word", Nike.
And while I got ready for training Snickers headed out to do the grocery shopping.
I texted messaged him a list of things to buy but he didn't quite know what asparagus or celery were.
See that big kid in the corner, that's my husband.  He's 30 going on 12... hahaha.
...and trying to take down two kids at once...hahaha.
Today we got an unexpected surprise visit from Trainer Thor and Bre.  They've since moved out of Korea and are residing in Hong Kong but they came back to K-Country for a little holiday visit.
