As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

They May be Mini Hulkies but their Drive for Training is Huge

I love this shot -- Snickers going in for a kiss and Balboa having none of it!!!
Balboa likes cuddles with the Polack though... hahaha.
As for the next picture, that's Guy Smiley.  He asked if he could wear my marathon medal today, treating it as if it were a gold medal from the Olympics... hahaha.
These days Hulk's is buzzing with an overdose of mini Hulkies.
One of the perks of our mini Hulkies is their amazing endless energy.
Here is one of our mini Hulkie amateur boxers helping train his buddies with padwork.  I haven't yet designated a nickname for him but should because he pretty much has become an assistant coach and we're so grateful to have him.  He went from being this overly shy student to taking on the responsibility with helping out with padwork.
Our ping-pong table is a huge hot spot for Hulkies to hang out at and here's Snickers trying to teach two of our mini Hulkies how to play.  The girl he's playing with, her nickname is Apple.  She's super adorable.
