As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunshine, Smiles and One Spooky Night

With today being a holiday, it was nice to get out of the club experience some fresh air.
Snickers and I headed out to Dankook University for a walk around the lake.
We had also anticipated a couple date but then Mouse Doctor showed up and then I spotted someone else, up on the balcony we just left... Panty Boy Jr!
Selfies seem to be the biggest craze, especially with Korean girls who leave me wanting to all bonk them in the head and telling them to get over themselves.  I took a selfie of myself today, after Snickers and I parted to do our own things.  I wanted to buy sunglasses but wanted his opinion so I snapped this shot.  Now I have new glasses.

Later in the evening I returned to Hulk's to hang out with my three most favourite of favourite four-legged friends -- Balboa, Pyen Chi and Pacquiao.

Unfortunately someone else showed up and scared the heck out of Pac.
He seems to think that hiding under the sink in the bathroom is the safest spot in the club.
Trying to coax him out of the bathroom worked somewhat but it didn't.
I then had to scoop him up in my arms and carry him out like a big baby.  I should note here that despite Pac being much smaller than Pyen Chi, he's almost half her weight -- all muscle baby!!!
So much for him being my personal security guard.  Tonight it was me protecting him.
See this picture, see how Pyen Chi and me are both looking at the camera but Pac isn't.
Right after this picture was taken, Pac bolted out of my arms and to the back of the club where he then barked his head off.  Pyen and Bal were quick to follow behind.
Definitely a ghost at Hulk's... definitely!!!
