As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Day of Food

How cute is this?!  My dad kept the letter I secretly hid for him on the coffee we bought together back when I last visited Canada, 2011.
My dad is the king of condiments, I'm convinced of it, but it's like father like daughter in my family.  I was shocked to see that he had discovered the wonderful world of sweet chili sauce, just like I have.  Anyone that's seen me cooking at Hulk's knows I absolutely love this sauce.
Yesterday I loaded up my dad's fridge with food.  Got to get him to rid it of all the condiments though.
Today's breakfast... Snickers may not like my cooking but my dad absolutely loves it.
What's a trip to Canada without some Timmies?!  Exactly.
Turns out that just my luck, or just my unluck depending on how you view it, Timmies now sells coffee packs for the exact machine I have in Korea.  Ohhh I sense this is where my money is going to go.
With a Timmies in one hand and my dad by my side, we headed down to the lake for a stroll.
I love Lake Ontario and I miss living so close to such a big body of water!
But I don't miss the chilly weather of Canada though, that's for sure.
...but the prettiness of the lake made up for me being so cold.
Ran into this cool dude at the lake -- a wild raccoon just sunbathing lakeside.
And speaking of cool dudes, took this picture of this cool dude.  I won't tell you about how I made a fool of myself and got down on all fours to snap and almost fell over for this shot of him and the lighthouse.
Dinner served -- a five veggie stir fry with sweet potato seasoned slices.
For dessert, we decided to do it up and head over to the local Dairy Queen for some ice cream.  My dad got a traditional chocolate dipped cone and I went for a mini peanut butter blizzard.
