As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Celebrating Hulk's 2nd Birthday Together

Apparently national Korean TV isn't so national in that different provinces show different shows at different times.  Ended up watching our KBS "Neighbour Charles" via an Internet site and then later we showed it again on our TV,
It made for a cozy viewing but the ghettoness of it was fun.
We then played it on repeat for the rest of the evening and our Hulkies got a good laugh out of seeing us all on TV,
It was a packed party!!!
Many members came just for the party and not for training where as many of our mini Hulkies trained early today and then stuck around the club the entire day!!!
We weren't able to get a massive cake without possibly giving up an arm or a leg but we did land a sweet cake with our symbol custom made unto it and then we had a smaller cake that a Hulkie gave us.
For the cake cutting part of the event, I made everyone sing Happy Birthday in English.
Then Snickers and I posed with the main cake and then handed it out to everyone.
We had also cut up a whack of fruit and had numerous snacks and juices for all to enjoy.
Unexpected birthday presents were a pure bonus!
Now Snickers will have to improve his English so that he can read the Hulk comic books he received.
In total, a little under 50 people attended our party.
Thank you to everyone who showed for it, we really appreciated you giving recognition to this day that really is so important to both Snickers and I.
Pyen Chi didn't attend the party but she wanted to.
Her babies, now 1 day old, are doing fabulous and Pyen Chi is such an attentive mommy.
