As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Club Bound and Grocery Bound

My home away from home and by "home" I mean my boxing club and Goodlife Fitness.
It's no System Fitness (my club out in Bloor West Village) but it's pretty awesome for Whitby.
Training hard is always followed up with eating clean and this week my dad has been learning a lot about how to pick healthy foods and cook up a clean, mean storm in the kitchen.
It definitely helps that stores like Sobeys offer so many amazing options.  I think it's awesome but I think it's a bit of a sensory overload for my Papa Bere.
Housten we have a problem... I have discovered that I've been totally deprived all along of the wonderful world of Tassimo coffee selections!!!
I have a Tassimo machine in Korea but I only knew of maybe a handful of coffee capsule options, that is until I came to Sobeys.  The other day I discovered that Tim Horton's made Tassimo capsules, then today I learned that not only does Maxwell House also make them but so does Folgers.
I feel like one deprived coffee drinker now!!!
