As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

My Little Girl is So Grown Up

As if having all those babies wasn't a big enough responsibility for our beautiful Pyen Chi, she now has started to take it upon herself to tell us when she needs water and when she has to have a bathroom break.  She excuses herself from her babies in the bedroom and comes find us in the club.
Today she joined us as one hopeful member talked to us about wanting one of Pyen's pups.
It's going to be so hard to give these little ones up.  The cuteness factor is through the roof!
I know Pyen Chi is exhausted all day every day from them but I wonder how she'll take being separated from them.
I wonder if the pups will miss her too and each other for that matter.
I don't think Balboa and Pac will miss them though.  My cute K-Bere boys have had to sleep in the back doggie room since two days before the birth of the pups and I think it's safe to say I miss having them beside me as much as they miss it too.
