The inevitable has started to happen -- people have started to claim which puppy they want to take home when it comes time to do so.
Most people favor the all black pup who has grey eyebrows, while others favor the two light fur pups, and one person really likes the dark salt and pepper pup. But the black pup is Baby #2, I saw him get delivered with no problem and after experiencing the struggle and shock that came with delivering the first pup, Baby #2's easy-breezy delivery was very exciting and a relief. As for the light fur pups, one of them was the first pup to be born so I also have a bias towards him. I watched as Snickers' broke open the sack he was in and then I watched as Snickers' cut his embilical cord. And the dark salt and pepper pup, that's Hulk Jr., the last pup born and the only pup born on our club's actual birthday.
So far no one is interested in Ali, Baby #3 who almost died in my arms. He is the smallest but, as I discovered today, he has the extra side claw on his back two legs that is a characteristic of the older breed of Tibetan Mastiff, very cool. Pyen Chi has an extra side claw on her hind legs as do four of her pups. Ali is one of these pups!
I fear the worst is going to happen because signs of it are starting... I fear not being able to give these pups up. I should have known better than to start naming them, seriously, that was my first mistake!!! I'm a sucker for four-legged cuties, yes I am.
