As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Nonstop Sunday

After church today, Snickers picked me up and we headed out for brunch together.
This is now a new part of our "couple culture" -- brunch after church.
Breakfast for him but lunch for me... brunch was served but what the heck am I to do with this?  A fork!!!  I haven't even owned a fork for over 10 years now.
The restaurant was rather expensive considering this is Korea and $16 usually pays for both our meals but I vouch a once-in-awhile-Western-style treat is worth it.
And while I sat indulging in my much craved for Western-style brunch,
Pyen Chi was at home feeding her little 7 member K-Bere Crew.
All they seem to do is eat, sleep, cry, and waddle around... oh, and pile up on each other.
We checked out a new pet shop today, one of the many pit stops we made, and we came across these ultra cute doggie shirts -- I'm bananas for you and a super bright Adidas top.
A very cool idea, expensive but none the less very cool.
I attended a special ceremony for a special little girl today, the daughter of a new friend.
I've never met this girl and have only just met her father but the two of them have left such an imprint on me.
I spent my evening sipping on coffee and studying.  I needed a very low key evening after the non stop feeling of the entire day leading up to it.
