As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Rocking Out a Run, A First Meeting, and Some Hard Beats

The pre-long run shot...
...and then the post-long run shot, accompanied with a lakeside picnic in the sun.
Today Team Thundra headed out to Asan for a group run and, despite the sun beating down on us, everyone rocked it!
Spent some down time with the K-Bere Crew, all 10 of them -- the original K-Bere Crew plus the Baby Pack of 7.
Three of the babies now have their eyes open... still waiting for the remaining 4.
The other day Pacquiao got a first look at one of his babies via us holding one of them up to the back doggy room gated cage and letting him sniff them.  Today he got to meet his son up close and personal.
We introduced him to Ko Pak, the little black pup that has been specifially named after him.
At first Pac was rather shy and nervous but his curiosity got the best of him and he couldn't resist the cuteness of his son.
Balboa on the other hand, I can so see him sizing Ko Pak up, wondering just how long he can bully him before he becomes bigger than him... hahaha.
Later in the evening I meet up with a friend at the local bar down the street and my running partner Rocket happened to be there, very cool.
A bad called "Mad Dog" was playing.  They're a rock band and I don't particularly care for rock music but I have to say this is by far one of the best bands in Cheonan and their energy and showmanship is so great.  You can't but enjoy the music they perform.  And speaking of performing, my buddy got asked up on stage to help sing one of the songs!  I doubt he'll be able to talk tomorrow after belting out those high notes but holy props to him!!!
