As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Fabulocity of Downtown TDot

Got out of Whitby and headed to the Tdot... T.O... Toronto! Love, love, L-O-V-E Toronto!!!
You know you're in Toronto when you start seeing totally Canadian style ads like this!
In my eagerness to get my hair done professionally in Canada, I showed up in Toronto for a 9am appointment.  Honestly, I should have kept my money and stuck with the ghettoness of my Japanese hair dye I buy in Korea.  It's so much darker than I wanted.
Met up with one of my high school friends, Dawn.
Found out that while the Hulk lives in Korea, Batman lives in Toronto, Canada.
The Dragon Boat Festival was a bust in that we found out we had to wait forever in a line for the ferry so we grabbed lunch and at it by the water, then walked around downtown.
Downtown is always buzzing with people.
Ahhh the CN Tower, a true symbol of Toronto.
Love the fact that there are bike paths around the city; that's very cool.
Downtown is now flooded with lots of street people, street performers, and just random strange people selling and promoting even stranger things.  Free info about Jesus and a street cat, welcome to the new Toronto.
Oddly enough, I've really missed the Toronto street cars.
Hit up City Hall for the Jazz Festival and caught some live jazz music.
My friend's mom was out at the Jazz Festival so I got to see her and I got to see my friend's daughter.
She's got this awesome little smirk that is just too cute.
Headed to the Eaton's Center for some good old bra shopping.  I may fit Korean sizes now but I always cash in on some Western bra shopping when I am in Canada.  Ended up getting professionally sized which was rather amusing because they sized us right there on the spot.
In the evening I met up with one of my good buddies from university.
Only a good friend would ignore the total blah mess and ugliness of my hair... hahaha.
Headed to the Taste of the Danforth.  Gotta love Toronto for it's awesome festivals!!!
Soft tacos for dinner and then popsicles for dessert... and yes, that is cotton candy on my friend's popsicle!
