As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Confidence, Ice Cream and a New Crew Member

Well I did it, minus the shorts that is, I ran in a sports bra today for my morning run.
As if I really needed another reason why to love my Mini Hulkies,
today they all took part in cleaning the mirrors of the club.
We've got a lot of mirrors but we also have a lot of Mini Hulkies.
Treating them to ice cream was the least I could do but because it was Wednesday and on Wednesdays I eat ice cream, ice cream for everyone... well all 20 who were there when I yelled out "ice cream for everyone!!!"
Saved some ice cream for some extra special Hulkies too.
With my move to Canada just around the corner, tonight I interviewed someone for a coaching position here at Hulk's.  Here's Snickers checking out his boxing skills.  We've already seen him in action though, at a couple of his Mauy Tai fights.
In soon-to-be-official news, we have a new trainer, Trainer Ogar.
[Insider's secret here, Trainer Ogar is really "Wonder Boy"].
