As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

More Work and Working Out

My new running uniform... great.  I love the colours but I hate shorts.
Running in a sports bra is one thing for me to do here in Korea but shorts, really?!
I haven't worn shorts since high school and ironically enough they're the exact same colour as the ones I used to wear back in school... fabulous.
Not a pretty picture of me, I know.  I don't train to look pretty.
Cranked up the tunes today at Free Train because I was ready and wanting to get down and gym nasty happy with training.  I cranked the music so loud I couldn't hear the boxing round bell, now that's loud!!!
Headed out for coffee at one of my favourite coffee shops tucked in the mountain side.
I still have no voice so I skipped the coffee and went for a lemon tea.
Sipped on lemon tea and discussed the business of my upcoming sabbatical.
