As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fighting out of Cheonan, South Korea... The Korean Hulk

It was fight day and we arrived at the location, pretty much the first to arrive.
Snickers got his health check.  Check out the dude in the white tank top on the left side of this picture, that's Snickers' opponent.
Decked out in Hulk gear.  Sporting his newly fashioned fighting uniform with sponsors' names on the front and back, and sporting the Pan Am Games tank top I bought him in Canada.

We had brought a bus full of Hulkies but more showed up to fill up the stands.
I think there were about 29 of us from Hulk's that showed up actually.
It was awesome to have Black Skinny help corner coach Snickers' fight.
He had a strong corner full of us corner coaches.
The stands were full of many familiar faces -- fellow coaches, fellow pro boxers, friends, and fans, so I snapped many pictures with many people.
Ran into a fellow Canadian pro boxer and fellow coach who noted that I'm the only person he knows who goes on vacation and comes back in better shape... hahaha.
I posed with a lot of people for a lot of pictures... all for the love of the sport!
Snickers' fight was the third fight in the tournament.  He had gained 7kgs for it.
They both took a lot of mean, strong punches but Snickers hit his opponent so hard he knocked his opponent's mouth guard out three times!!!  You can see it in the second picture here, flying out, right by his opponent's head.
The fight ended in a draw, according to KBC refs that is.
According to the crowd and those who know boxing, it was Snickers' win.
