As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Up in the Village and Downtown Fun... Tuesday, July 7

It was a beautiful rainy day in Toronto today and I headed up to Bloor West Village.
I really should be visiting more than just my old stomping grounds but I love this part of Toronto so much.
Up in the Village, I met up with my cousin.  It's been years since I've seen him.  The last time I saw him I think I was still in the single digits age group and he wasn't inked.  Love his inked sleeves
After training I grabbed a chicken swarmma pita.  It was massive and jam packed with veggies.  I nursed that thing pretty much the entire subway ride back downtown.
In the evening I headed to the town house my friends rent out.  They rent it out to traveling visitors as supposed to tennents that stay longer than just a week.  Together we cleaned it, it was the very least I could do considering how awesome they've been with letting me stay at their place.
The three of us then returned home for a little movie night in fun... with of course popcorn!!!
