As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Morning in Whitby But Back to Toronto by Early Evening

Met up with my hair stylist superstar friend and together we enjoyed a super delish breakfast together.  I wish I could pack this little lady in my bag and take her with me to Korea, and not just because she makes me hair looked wicked fabulous but because I really love her tough girl attitude.
See... I told you my hair looks wicked fabulous.
Today I got my friend just to trim the buzzed part but we went a bit daring with going much shorter than before.  I love it.  I absolutely love it and ironically enough half a shaved head makes me feel so much more feminine than ever before.
Headed back to Toronto via the Go Train.  I love the Go Train... it's right up there with streetcars!
The Go Train follows the side of the lake, Lake Ontario, and I love the lake too.  I love the fact that it stretches all the way from my hometown of Whitby to the fabulous city of Toronto.
Before, back when I used to live here in Canada, I never was interested in the CN Tower.  It always such a tourist attraction but coming back on this vacation, seeing it makes me feel so happy.
After my late night training, I ran into a buddy I used to train with at System's Fitness.  It's crazy just how many people have remained here since I've gone and I think that's an amazing testimony as to just how awesome this gym is.  It really has a homey feel to it; I love it.
