As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Welcome Back to Korean Drama

Nothing like a little morning drama to say welcome back to Korea, land of kimchi and where everything that's not normal is normal.  This is the flipside of life as I used to know it.
Emergency response showed up, banging on our door at 6:40am.  Good morning Korea.
After a brutal wake-up call, I decided to pull out "the good stuff" -- Timmies coffee and new coffee mugs from Canada.
We decided to not open the club doors today so that we could catch up on work but a particular scene from yesterday's fight kept my phone busy with comments from friends, Hulkies and fans.  This screenshot was taken and sent to me, a few times actually.  It's of Snickers leaning over the rings to kiss me and it got rave reviews apparently.
