As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Lots of Food and Lots of Training

My post boxing meal was thanks to a special someone and my mid day afternoon snack was thanks to the grade A goodness of Canada and its grocery store selection awesomeness.
Snuck a pic of The Stick for you.
Even taking a secret pic of him made me nervous... hahaha.
Trained at System with some of the big guys.
They make the men extra big here in Canada but also extra stubborn too.
Trying to convince him to lighten up his punches and invest in handwraps was a struggle.
The beauty of the crew I train with at System is that everyday it seems to be a new crew and we just train together.  I'm always up for helping them out and giving advice but we're all just doing our own thing but we're doing it together.
Spent my evening doing some food prep work.
...you know there was definitely a ton of chicken being cooked up!!!
...and of course a lot of veggies too!
Viola... five fully stacked meals of protein-packed delish and awesomeness.
... ya, they'll only last about a couple of days.
