As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Cheering for the Home Team Boys... Monday, September 21

Attended a Blue Jays baseball game tonight, yuppers that's right.  I scored a free ticket.  Eat your heart out all you die-hard baseball fans.  They played the Yankees and my buddy whom I sat beside was like an encyclopedia of baseball facts and figures regarding the game and the Jays.

"Who is your favourite Jays player?", he asked.
"Number 7", I said. "Ben Revere."
"But he hasn't got any home runs and he's not the best at anything on the team", he noted.
"Yes...but he's the best looking."

Yup, pretty lame I know but that's how I picked my favourite player tonight.  To tell you the truth, when it comes to team sports I tend to never have a favourite specific player.  And when it comes to baseball, I think the sport is rather dry and super slow.  I can't stand to watch a game on TV but will note that it's a whole other ball game when watching it in person.  Tonight's game lasted a few hours and I pretty much was educated on every fact and figure regarding the game, ranging from player's statistics and their qwirks to how many fans the building can fit and prizes to be won.
