As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Bere Hugs with My Beautiful Mini Beres

I love these little ladies so much and today I got to catch up on hugs and kisses as we celebrated the middle one's 7th birthday.  We had a big family dinner party.
A lot but one little one from today's party was missing in this pic.  They're so cute.
Yes... trampoline action.  I love it.
Last time I was here they sent me home with a bag full of tomatoes and hot jalapeno peppers that they had grown in their garden.  Veggies grown with love.
The house was buzzing with birthday fun and little kiddies all trying to get in on the action.
I'll admit I was rather distracted by the food.
I can't remember the last time I ate lasagna!!!
Birthday dinner fun... super delish.
After dinner, we sat around and watched as little R opened her birthday presents.
And of course there was then the blowing out of the birthday cake.
I still get the fuzzes when I see my big brother is daddy mode with his girls. They're his life.
