As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Toronto to Whitby and Back

Had a very Canadian moment today unlike none other.
There I was, sitting outside of Union Station with my work shirt on from my boxing club, a hot Timmies coffee in hand, enjoying the weather and random pop-up food festival.
Ah Union Station, I love the massive size of it and it's always been so symbolic to me.
A pop-up food festival outside of Union Station, but of course.  This is Toronto.
There is never ever a shortness of awesomeness in this city or a lack of things to do.
Left Toronto, the city of awesomeness, and headed out to Whitby, the city of my roots.
Got my hair done by my fabulously talented friend.
Then it was off for coffee with one of my friends from my elementary school days.
Scored a couple more hugs from my cutie little Daddy-O, Papa Bere, and then I headed back to Toronto, the city of awesomeness.
