As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Packed Day of Training, Travelling, Food, and Friends

Train hard and eat clean.  This IS the breakfast of champions.
Today my hard training was rewarded with a protein-packed breakfast out.  Thanks coach!
Headed off to Whitby to get my hair done and boy did it ever get done!!!
Check out those closeness of that side cut, the clean lines, and how about the sharpness of how the hair traces my jawline to a T?!  Yup.  Mad talent by my friend!
My girl out in Whitby has mad talent so YES, it is most definitely worth the hour and a half hike out to her shop in Whitby to get it done.  And check out her hair.  She's actually got a mohawk but you'd never know because of how she's cut and styled it.
Racing to Whitby in between my boxing and weight training meant I had to wolf down my post training meal, meal #5 of 6, on the Go Train ride back into Toronto.
Arrived at System to be greeted by a whole line of these random signs.  This was the first one I saw and I couldn't help but laugh.  I think Squat Girl put this up just to tease me but she got it wrong.  I don't want a tight butt, I want a ghetto fabulous bootie like hers.  It stands up to attention, demands attention, and definitely gets attention.
After a long day of training and travelling, who should I most randomly run into but a public school friend of mine whom I probably haven't seen since high school graduation.  I'm ageing myself when I say this but I think it's been 17 years!!!
