Thanksgiving dinner with family meant an overly massive turkey...
and a table set up for an incredibly big feast.
It also meant the men bombarding the kitchen.
My brother T-Roy not only grows a lot of his food but also cooks it.
It was awesome to sit back with my nieces and my dad as we waited for dinner.
More people arrived and so did more dogs too -- 14 people and 3 dogs.
It was a packed house out in the country.
Viola, Thanksgiving feast time with my family.
T-Roy and one of his daughters, just one reason why I know he's thankful every day.
And what's a holiday feast without a snap of what I ate.... hahaha. Plate 1 of 2.
...and hello dessert -- warm apple crumble with ice cream. This was a-w-e-s-o-m-e!!!
Apparently I was the after dinner entertainment -- members of the family showing off just how much of a fear and dislike I have with holding babies. Yes, it's true. I don't like to hold babies. I've never had a bad experience, I guess I just think I'll break them.
Chillaxin' with the family on a Thanksgiving evening, a first in 11 years for me.
