As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

What Made me Happy in Korea

This used to be my life -- living at the boxing club with my four-legged friends, my pups.
I lived at the boxing club.  I lived for the boxing club.

My life revolved around the club, it's members and my training, and the only real thing outside of it that existed in my life were my four-legged friends, my dogs.
Here I am with some of my mini Hulkies and the K-Bere Pack -- Pyen and Pac's babies.
I loved those puppies.
Instantly I fell in love with them and I wanted to share them with our members.
I loved my mini Hulkies like I loved those puppies -- they sometimes drove me nuts but when it came down to it there I was always their biggest fan and they were everything to me.  Sharing my four-legged friends with my mini Hulkies was happiness to me.
