As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Leisurely Sunny Sunday... Sunday, November 1

Church and brunch out, no training and leisurely lounging, that's how my Sundays usually roll.

Brunch out today meant me waiting over an hour in line for a seat at a top ranked little breakfast hotspot -- Aunties and Uncles.  While standing in line I got talking to the couple behind me -- a Polish gal whose boyfriend is a chef but was enjoying his first Sunday off so they had driven to the city to come to this particular restaurant.  Another couple next to me was an Asian couple who had overheard part of my conversation with the other couple and interrupted me to tell me that they'll be going to Korea in January to visit a sibling.  Later in the day the looked me up on Facebook, added me, and then promised me they'd visit my club in Cheonan, South Korea.

As for the rest of the day, that was filled with leisurely lounging back at my apartment.
