As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Hardcore Hits to Hardcore Chocolate

The before and after shots from today's sparring session.
Always grateful for the experience, opportunity and skills tested and learned!!!
Left weight training at System to be greeted by this outside their front door.
Talk among some of my fellow weight trainers is that the motorcyclist involved may possibly be one of the trainers at System.  I seriously hope this is just all talk and that the man involved in this accident is alright.  Scary stuff.
Later in the evening I headed to this very cool restaurant to see some long time friends.
Hello Madi!!!  I've known this awesome gal for over 13 years now.  Her man Graeme had invited me out tonight so when I walked in she was so surprised to see me.
Another couple was with Graeme but we all think we've actually met.  Regardless, it was quite a fun night out.  Lots of smiles and laughs and it felt so good to see them.
I've missed my share of Ice Cream Wednesdays this past month so I treated myself to a piece of floorless chocolate cake and, let me tell you, it was like Heaven on my fork -- super rich, super delish, and perhaps too yummy because I didn't even share.
