As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I'll be Hitting the Big Screen at TIFF

Today this cup of coffee definitely rejuvenated my love for Torontonians.
[see story below]
I was picked to be featured in a commercial for an immigration services and today they showed up with all their equipement, ready to film it.
They basically told me to do my workout routine and let them film me.
So that's exactly what I did.  In addition to having already done my boxing earlier this morning and then leaving the commercial filming to go do weight training at System, it made for a very sweaty, long day.
The commercial won't be on TV but instead will be shown on the big screen at the TIFF Festival.  "Forget TV," the camera man said, "we're taking you straight to the big screen!'  Hahaha, thanks.  I'm flattered.
