As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Subway and the Streets... Saturday, November 14

I took this cool shot today while taking the subway to the boxing club.  I had jumped into the first subway car and the driver noticed me leaning against his door so he popped his head out and asked me if I liked the view.  "Yes, I do", I replied.  "It's not always a pretty view", he told me.  I take it he's seen a "jumper" on the track before, that's rough, and word of that totally changed this cool view to that of a creepy one!
Speaking of real cool views though, tonight my Boy J and I headed out for a night on the town.  Turns out we definitely went out on the town, like the ENTIRE town.  We walked and walked in search of food, for starters, and then we walked and walked for a cool place to chillax together.  My Boy J always finds some very cool spots and tonight was no different.  Had a blast with him, as always, and chatted up about so many things, also as always.
