As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Singing, Smiling and Punching... Sunday, November 15

Spent my morning at church, like I always do every Sunday.
Ossington Pentecostal Church, it's so pretty but the people that fill these pews are seriously so super sweet.  I'm always greeted with hugs and smiles, and there's one older usher at the door that is soft on me and always greets me with two kisses on the cheek.
The Toronto Santa Claus parade was happening today and I really wanted to see it but I had a business meeting with the two creators of the book being written about me.  However, where should Santa happen to be but right down the street from my church.

I heard him before I actually saw him and so I ran to his voice.  I must have been the happiest big kid there, snapping pics of him and yelling out his name.  The last time I've seen the Santa Claus parade was when I actually lived in Canada.  Korea definitely doesn't do Christmas or holidays for that matter like Canada so I'm going to love, love, LOVE enjoying Christmas this year!!!
Headed out to my most favourite of favourite breakfast hotspots -- Niche.
I was supposed to meet the creators of my biography book here and enjoy breakfast together but because of the parade traffic was brutal and they got stuck in it.  Santa may be awesome but with all his elves and fans, he caused quite the traffic jam.
Ended up meeting the creators and took them to my boxing club.
They needed to get some shots because as a graphic designer he's going to be drawing out all the stuff for the book so he needs to know the scene locations in my life.
What's a visit to a boxing club without putting on some gloves and taking some fun shots?!  Exactly.  It's like a must-do thing.
Stay tuned for more details about my biography.  It's going to be in cartoon form, published by Misfit Island, and I'm so silly excited about it.  It's going to be awesome!!!
