As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Enjoying Some Sweetness... Sunday, December 27

I got a few key Christmas gifts from a some people in my life and one of them was from one of the boxers I train at PBBoxfit.  He had written a super sweet letter in a card and had cooked me some super delish cookies.  I was so incredibly touched.  Note the A on the stocking, very sweet!  I had opened the card and box of cookies the other day but today I finished them off.

This particular boxer has been training with me at PBBoxfit since I started and he's flying out to Korea for a vacation.  I told him if he had time to check out my boxing club in Cheonan.  I hope he does.  Hulk's has since changed location and even I haven't seen it.
