As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Chillaxin' Sunday... Sunday, January 3

Not too much to write about today.

I woke up, ate, went to church, met up for coffee with a friend, ate, went home, ate, caught up on some emails, ate, worked on my business proposal, did some errands, and then ate.

I called the girl at Bread & Roses evil when she asked me if I wanted anything else with my sandwich order.  That place is where diets go to Hell and calories are put on simply by breathing in the air.  It wasn't the first time I've called her evil though and now it's kind of become our thing.  She joked with me and said I should thank her because she keeps people like me and the fitness industry in business.  "I plump them up and you tone them down", she told me.
