We're coming up to February and I'm beginning to think that February may very well be the busiest month this year for me. Taking a look at all that I've been invited too, wow, it's a bit overwhelming but I'm loving it because I never was this busy outside of the club in Korea. Having said this though, I can definitely feel my Korean mentality surfacing every time I go to look at my schedule -- I want it packed and I keep it tight. I have my early morning coaching, my boxing that follows, a couple of personal training clients to push through their training, and then I have my weight training. I also have the Fight Club on Fridays but now I have more things to throw into my schedule -- 8 events this month.
Wednesday, February 3rd, 8pm
Bad Dog Theatre Company Comedy Sketch
Every Wednesday in February the Elephant Empire presents a new one hour long comedy sketch at their place on Bloor Street.
Saturday, February 6th, 9pm
Babes and Bottle Service
A friend of a friend is hosting a one year anniversary party for his club promotion business and I've been invited. They'll be having a strict dress code enforced and it's bound to be a night of luxury and good times.
Sunday, February 7th, 4pm
UWA Wrestling Tournament
This will be held at the Lithuanian House on Bloor Street and one of the trainers from System Fitness where I weight train will be participating in so it'll definitely be an action-packed event.
Friday, February 12th, 7pm
Live Boxing Tournament
This is a live boxing bout fight card being held out in Mississauga that many of my fellow fighters are planning to attend.
Saturday, February 13th, 10:30am
Chinese New Year Parade
One of my good friends from university is participating in this alongside the Hong Luck Kung Fu Club that he is a dedicated member of. He and his club members will be doing their annual Chinese New Year lion dance parade through Chinatown.
Sunday, February 14th, 1pm
No Love Lost; Live Olympic Style Boxing
Motor City out in Oshawa is hosting this event in Oshawa. It's a fight card with amateur fighters on it but it's bound to be good and full of fresh energy.
Saturday, February 20th, 4pm
Supremacy; Muay Thai Tournament
Black Tigers Gym is hosting it's first full-contact Muay Thai 4 man elimination tournament at their gym.
Saturday, February 27th, 7pm
Hershey Centre Fight Night
One of my friends from Cabbagetown Boxing is the main event so my boxing club has bought a table for this particular event.
