As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fueling Up on Fierce Eats and Fierce Females

Wednesday morning sparring shot... because it's tradition baby!!!
My post sparring meal.  Meal #2 for today -- Greek salad with a grilled chicken sandwich with spinach and tomatoes.
Met up with my girl Ginger Spice for a caffeine fix before hitting the gym for more training and some heavy bag work.
Am nursing a bit of an injured hand (shhhh, keep that on the low) so I opted out of hitting the heavy bag, let Double J go solo on it, and instead worked the spinning bike.

Shout-outs to anyone and everyone who has ever ridden a spinning bike for more than 5 minutes without complaining about their tush hurting like it's no one's business!!!
With it being Happy Ice Cream Wednesday, I took my gorgeous girl friend out for sweets.  I haven't been training her for a couple of months now so it was a good chance to play catch up and get in some girl chat time.
It also meant I didn't feel guilty for indulging in some excessive sweets.
Okay, so maybe we did feel guilty but it was so bad it was good.
We had cookies, coffee and a scoop each of gelato.
