As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

We'll Just Call Today "Tired Tuesday"

I woke up tired just thinking about today and feeling like it was just one long continuation of yesterday.  Did I sleep? Ya, I think so but not much -- maybe 5hrs.
Had an important meeting with a sponsor today and he teased me about the importance of me "cleaning up".  I take at least 2 showers a day, more than most.
His comment was with reference to my hair, that seems to be an ongoing joke,
so not only did I comb my hair but I also curled it!
I got all fancy for that conference call, mind you I still sported my usual training clothes.
...back to being tired.  That apparently was the theme of the day.
I had coached in the morning and then returned for a PT meeting.
See, I told you me being today was the theme.
I had told Double J that once I got through the first half of my heavy bag work, 6 rounds, that I'd stop for a quick break.
Took a 10 minute power nap, got up and then finished my round work.
