As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Packed Day

Oh you know it... the classic pre-sparring picture, as tradition.
Eight rounds later and the ring ropes are holding me up at
Queen Spar's arms are totally swollen from punching me around the ring... nice.
Headed downtown for a special breakfast for two with a pretty cool fierce female.
She told me where to meet her, a super cute little diner that felt like it
had popped out straight from the 1950's.  It was so old school; I loved it.
Afternoon training at System meant also watching these two knock each other
around in the spinning room as they practiced their sparring.
Then this went down.  I received a surprise Valentine's Day gift from Clancys Boxing -- 2 movie tickets so J-Doll and I went to catch the pre-screening of "How to Be Single".
And this may or may have not happened, me eating the entire larger-than-my-head ice cream.  J-Doll took me to an ice cream hotspot he's been ranting and raving about since I returned from Korea.  The place is called Sweet Jesus and holy sweet Jesus it was super duper delish!!!
