As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Packed-full-of-Training Day... Wednesday, February 24

I had a busy day packed with lots of training today.... but first a pre-sparring pic.
...and then a post sparring pic, of course.
Today Queen Spar specifically wore this particular tank top because this weekend her teammate from Cabbagetown Boxing, Tim the Irish Cronin, is fighting.
And here he is, Tim the Irish Cronin, also known as the best cook at Sunset Grill where I
go after boxing for breakfast a few times every week with Coach Brown.
Hanging out at my barbershop buddy's shop, as if I'm not here enough
because of the upkeep of having half a shaved head.
Hit System super late tonight, 9pm, and kicked off my late night training with some treadmill running and a few laps of sprints on the indoor track.
Running was then followed by weight training.
Today was leg day for me so I was super giddy to get my swag on, aka sore leg walk!
I ended the evening by going home and watching videos saved on my phone of Pyen Chi.  It was her 5th birthday.  I messaged Snickers about it and oddly enough he had remembered.  I didn't bother to ask if he had done anything special for her though.  I'm quite over his lack of holiday attention.
