As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Food for my Belly and Food for Thought

I decided today to take a bit of a break from my normal day of overdose training so I kicked it off with a hearty home cooked breakfast and an extra strong, extra large coffee.
By the way, I also ate one of those meals that FoodyFit left for me.
Mashed potatoes that aren't even mashed potatoes at all, they're blended cauliflower?!
Holy delish beyond words.  I was definitely impressed.
Spent a good chunk of my day reading my favourite of favourite sports psychology books.
I underlined, I circles, I wrote in the margins, and pondered a lot of the food for thought the author wrote.  This is probably the 6th time I've read this book but the first time reading this copy.  My original copy was so marked up that you could hardly even read the author's words but then I accidentally left it in Thailand at my last fight.
It reads "be the dream" but my question is, what do you do after you get your dream
after you've made your dream a reality?  That's my current dilemma.
