As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fueling up on Hugs, Training and Food

Look at who I got to see today!!!!!!  My girl from back in the day, high school.
OK, so I have to come up with some kind of nickname for this super sweet gal pal of mine, I'm working on it!  See how sweet she is, putting cream on my beat up hands and giving me extra warm hugs.  Girl is too sweet, I tell you!
Bwahahaha..... apparently I have become a hugger.  I realize that and accept that.
My personal space totally went out the door as soon as I stepped back on Canadian soil.
No personal space here when training with the Mexican.
He made me step into the ring today with him and do some light sparring with him.
Just yesterday I went to the optomitrist and he told me to be extra careful with my eyes but here I am, letting this guy go at me.  He didn't go hard but nonetheless I need to be more careful.
Trained super hard today and was rewarded with a meal made for a champion
-- mixed veggies, sweet potato, salmon, AND beef.
Check that out... holy delish!
